Kitchen uniforms face heat, steam, oil and a laundry cycle that never stops. We specify twill and poly-cotton blends with a weave tight enough to resist splashes but open enough to breathe, and we reinforce the seams that fail first: underarm, pocket and cuff.
Fit matters more in a kitchen than anywhere else on the premises. Sleeves are cut to roll cleanly above the elbow, jackets are shaped so a chef can reach across a pass without the hem lifting, and aprons are sized by station rather than by one default length.
